June 7, 2014 was the day which Bowe Bergdahl was released by the taliban. There is a lot of controversy surrounding this release. He was released in exchange for 5 top ranked taliban terrorists from Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
Right now, I really don’t have an opinion on what to think. There were many people that just weeks ago were wanting to bring Bowe home. However, then when he was released, now these same people want to crucify the guy. I mean, as far as we know it isn’t his fault that he was traded for terrorists. We know that he left intentionally. However, we don’t know why he left. We also don’t know what happened to him during his time with the taliban. For right now, I am sitting on the fence and letting the military do their investigation into what happened.
