I work for a hotel, as I have mentioned in previous posts. One of my biggest frustrations, is with the way they do updates.  The “main” updates are usually designed to add some functionality to the property management system that we use.  However, it seems almost every time that they have to roll out a new update to fix something that they broke with the “main” update

Today was one prime example of this. There was an update where the system was down for a couple hours. I was excited to see what was added. However, when the system came back up, I discovered that I could not do a certain task that is very critical to one of my duties. I don’t know what else (if anything) is broken at this time. I just know that the one thing that I need, does not work. I hope that they get it fixed by the end of the month, so that I can be able to finish my job.
